Millennium Park

This state-of-the-art collection of architecture, landscape design, and world-class art is known as Millennium Park, and serves as the backdrop for hundreds of free cultural programs weekly. Here your group can see concerts, exhibitions, tours, and family activities in this ‘new kind of town square.’ A noted lively and spectacular gathering spot is located in the heart of Chicago, a favorite of locals and tourists alike. Chicago’s premier green space recently celebrated its 10th anniversary with an iconic collection of public art, film screenings, al fresco workouts and dining, and an on site ice rink. The original creation for this park was to cover up the out of date railroad tracks and lots, and now it is a treasured park full of fun classic Chicago events and landmarks.

Stop by the famous Lurie Gardens, the 5-acre urban oasis that features a perennial garden, hardwood foot bridge, and shallow wading pool. Taking on the ‘urbs in horto’ saying, this ‘City in a garden’ is well worth a visit. Another worthy and iconic stop is at The Bean, or officially named 'Cloud Gate'. This massive, stainless steel structure has become a staple for Chicago, photos of the skyline in it's mirror-like surface famous worldwide. While you're visiting the most popular spots within the park, be sure to head over to the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, the famous bandshell within the park!
