This state-of-the-art aquarium combines the best of early 20th century ‘age of aquariums’  with it’s diverse, global animal collection surrounded by eye-popping architecture. Thriving on excellence and innovation, Shedd Aquarium is a stately marble building with a collection of aquatic animals from around the world located in Grant Park (Field Museum and Art Institute of Chicago). Your group will find over 32,000 animals within this aquarium, complete with award-winning exhibits and in depth hands-on activities. Stop by the Soundings Cafe for a wholesome menu and lakefront view, or the family friendly Bubble Net for a quick lunch. Stop by the popular Carribean Reef that has been attracting guests since 1971 at some point before you go. This 360 degree look into an underwater reef community allows your group to see green sea turtles, moray eels, rays, and the occasional shark within the 90,000 gallons.You can also stop by the theater for an incredible 4D experience you won’t forget.
