Welcome to Chicago’s all-age friendly comedy club, a completely improvised show that attracts locals and tourists alike every night for it’s fantastically funny shows! ComedySportz is the longest running short form improv comedy show in Chicago, a unique interactive show that enables guests to drive the show with their input. There is a referee who controls and monitors the ‘applause-o-meter’, which shows which team wins at the end, the blue or red team, by the amount of laughter they receive throughout the show.
ComedySportz offers Chicago shows, comedy improv classes, and improv comedy for corporate training ,entertainment, and private events in the Gold Coast, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, and Old Town communities. The classes offered are shaped for any age or skill level and allow guests or professionals to hone their improv skills. Once here you will see how important audience interaction influences are, impacting every scene, song, or game played in the performance. The group puts on several special events and annual performances, such as A Very ComedySportz Halloween and the Midwest Improv Invitational.
